A project for Roland Garros expansion has been pushed back a year, French Tennis Federation president Jean Gachassin told France’s Tennis magazine.
The cost of the project, which will expand the tournament’s footprint from 21 acres to 30.8 acres, has climbed to 340 million euros from 273 million euros. Lights and a roof will be installed over the Philippe Chatrier court and another show court, among other improvements.
